Description:
Day 1:- Arrive Delhi, meet & assist at the airport & transfer to the hotel. Day free at leisure for shopping in local market near hotel. Night stay in Hotel.
Day 2:- After breakfast visit the ancient capital city, with its magnificient Red Fort the pageant of Indian History, from its origin around 1200 BC, through the periods under the Sultans in the 10th century and Mughals from the 14th Century. Finally there is New Delhi where ornate buildings recall the days when India was jewel in the crown of the British empire. Visit Qutab Minar, India Gate, Humayun’s Tomb, Safdarjung Tomb, The President’s House, Mahatma Gandhi Memorial, Lotus Temple & Laxmi Narayan Temple. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 3:- After Breakfast depart for Jaipur – the fabled “Pink City” of the desert Arrive Jaipur and transfer to the reserved hotel. A little sight seeing after wards in the Pink Markets of the Pink city, known as badi chopar and choti chopar. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 4:- After breakfast visit the famous Amber fort. Ride up on the elephant back to the former capital of the Royals set against the back drop of the wooded hills see the luxurious and decorated rooms of the kings and queens also called as Sheesh Mahal. Later visit the Palace of Winds (Hawa Mahal) an architectural gem which is having hundreds of big & small windows which were used by the queens to greet and see their kings in older days of Purdah system (The women were not allowed to step out in public). Then visit the Jantar Mantar, City Palace and the stone observatory. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 5:- After breakfast, drive to Agra via Fatehpursikri (Also known as the Ghost city or the haunted city) – which was estranged capital of Mughal Emperor Akbar build in 1569 and deserted when its water supply failed. Arrive Agra check in the hotel, freshen up for a whole new city of traditions. Afternoon visit the Red Fort – The rusty Majestic Red sand stone fort of Agra standing on the banks of river Yamuna. The construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566. Later at the sunset visit the Magnificent TAJ MAHAL- One of the 7 wonders of the world & surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created. It was build by Emperor Shah Jehan for his beloved wife Mumtaz. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 6:- Leave from Agra to Haridwar. Arrive Haridwar and check in the reserved hotel. Then leave and arrive to the ghats of the holy river Ganga. Take a holy dip and rest of the day free at leisure. In evening visit the Ghats of Ganga for a mesmerizing Aarti (Prayer) with oil lamps and flowers floating on the holy river Ganga. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 7:- After breakfast drive to Rishikesh. The holy city famous for its spas, Ayurvedic massage, Holy Ganga river, Laxman Jhula (The hanging bridge built by Lord Laxman), Ram Jhula (The hanging bridge built by Lord Ram) & resorts. Arrive in resort & overnight in the resort.
Day 8:- After breakfast drive back to Delhi (280 Kms approx.). Arrive Delhi and transfer to the reserved hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 9:- After breakfast, departure transfer to domestic airport to board flight for Srinagar. Arrival at Srinagar, on arrival meeting with our assistance and then transfer to Houseboat. Shikara ride in Dal lake in the evening.
Day 10:- After breakfast, full day trip to Gulmarg (meadows of flowers) 2730 mts above the sea level Gulmarg:- Gulmarg legendary beauty, its prime location and its proximity to Srinagar naturally make it one of the premier hill resort in country. Originally named Gaurimargmouth. A moat indicates the dividin it was renamed Gulmarg in the 16th century by Sultan Yusuf Shah, who was inspired by the sight of its grassy slopes emblazoned with wild flowers. Gulmarg was a favorite haunt of Emperor Jehangir who once collected 21 different varieties of flowers. Today Gulmarg is not merely amountain resort of exceptional beauty it also has the highest green golf course in the world, at an attitude of 2680 meters above sea level, and is the country's prime ski resort in the winter. The distance of 56kms, will be cover in one and half-hour by jeeps. Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world, and one of the highest golf courses in the world with 18 holes. You can enjoy a view of naga parbat if the weather permits. The view enroute from tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. Gondola ride will be giving to snow peak. Guide will be along evening back to Houseboat. Dinner will serverd.Overnight stay.
Day 11:- After breakfast full day trip to Pahalgam (valley of shepherds) by jeep the total distance of 96kms. Pahalgam:- Pahalgam, the Village of Shepherds ! The Lidder river runs through Pahalgam in a rushing gray-green torrent, foam flecked, breaking in curling waves against the boulders that lie in its path. Its sound is an eternal as the whisper of wind through pine and fir, its force primeval its untamed splendor. Will be cover in 3hrs. En-route visit saffron field of pampore, and enjoy the beautiful countryside drive through the pine forest. Horse ride will be given along the pony trails to see magnificant view of the mountains. Evening back to Houseboat. Stay overnight.
Day 12:- After breakfast, sightseeing of gardens visit famous Mughal gardens like- Nishat garden built by asaf khan the brother of jehangir in 1932 a.d. And Shalimar Bagh built by jehangir for her wife empress nur jahan. Chasma shaie was bulit by Mughal all the gardens situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan hills in the back ground. En-route the gardens, visit carpet weaving factories, Afternoon drop at airport to catch flight to Delhi. Pickup at Delhi airport and drop at reserve hotel. Overnight at hotel in Delhi.
Day 13:- Full day in Delhi for shopping at various local markets like Connaught Place, Karol Bagh, Delhi Haat etc.. Overnight at hotel in Delhi.
Day 14:- After breakfast drop at airport to catch flight back home.
