  • Day 1 - Sun 22 Dec 2024: Arrival in Rome

    Upon your arrival in Rome, we’ll be there to transfer you to your hotel. Later, our guide will meet you and provide all the essential information. You can also find details on the information sign in the hotel reception area.

    In the evening, we’ll take you to Via Cavour; an excellent introduction to Rome. Here, you’ll find a variety of restaurants offering Italian, Indian, Chinese, and international cuisine.

  • Day 2 - Mon 23 Dec 2024 : Rome

    We’ll kick off our day in the morning with a panoramic tour, offering a fantastic introduction to the Eternal City. We’ll visit the tiny state of the Vatican, the heart of Christianity, where you´ll have the chance to explore Saint Peter’s Basilica. Tickets are included for the Imperial Forums, an awe-inspiring architectural complex filled with monumental buildings and squares that were once the hub of political life in Imperial Rome.

    In the evening, we’ll provide a transfer to Trastevere, perfect for a leisurely stroll through its charming, narrow cobblestone streets. This district is rich in hidden gems, from quaint medieval churches and quirky shops selling unique items to everyday scenes of local life. You’ll find many trattorias (casual eating establishments, typically less formal than a ristorante) and osterias (similar to taverns), each exuding Italian charm and ready to serve you authentic local dishes. Additionally, the area offers a variety of restaurants serving Indian, Chinese, and international cuisine. We’ll return to the hotel at the end of the evening.

  • Day 3 - Tue 24 Dec 2024: Rome - Florence

    On day 3, we’ll leave Rome and head north, taking in the beautiful landscapes along the way. Upon reaching Florence, we’ll go directly to the stunning Piazzale Michelangelo for breathtaking views of the city. In the evening, we’ll enjoy a guided walking tour with a local expert through the historic center, visiting landmarks such as the Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, and Piazza della Signoria. This city is like an open-air museum. Afterwards, you´ll have some free time to explore at your leisure. In the evening, you’ll have plenty of options for dinner, as this district offers many restaurants with a variety of international cuisines.

  • Day 4 - Wed 25 Dec 2024: Florence - Venice

    On day 4, we’ll enjoy the stunning mountain landscapes as we cross the Apennines. Upon arriving in Venice, we’ll take a boat across the Giudecca Canal to the Island of Venice. With the help of a local guide, we’ll visit the marvellous St. Mark’s Square. Afterwards, we’ll tour the Murano Glass Factory, where you’ll see the fascinating techniques used to create this ancient glass. You´ll have some free time to explore on your own. Accommodation will be in the Mestre district.

  • Day 5 - Thu 26 Dec 2024: Venice - Innsbruck - Zurich

    We’ll depart Venice and make our way to Austria. Upon arriving in Innsbruck, you’ll have time to explore the historic town center and enjoy lunch. Afterwards, we’ll continue our journey through the beautiful Tyrolean landscapes as we cross into Switzerland, arriving in Zurich.

  • Day 6 - Fri 27 Dec 2024: Zurich - Lucerne - Zurich

    Day 6’s journey features stunning landscapes with tall mountains and pristine lakes. We’ll enjoy breathtaking scenery in the Interlaken region. Our first stop will be Grindelwald, where we’ll have time for a coffee before taking the cable car up the mountain. Once there, we’ll walk along a winding path leading to a suspended bridge. For those who are adventurous, crossing the bridge offers spectacular views of the surrounding glaciers. We’ll have lunch on the mountain (included) before heading back down. Our next destination is Lucerne, one of Switzerland´s most beautiful cities, where you’ll have time to explore and enjoy the charming cityscape. We’ll then return to Zurich.

    Note: The guide will offer an optional full-day excursion, starting in the morning. After some free time in Lucerne, we’ll take a rotating cable car to the summit of Mount Titlis. At over 3,000 meters above sea level, the alpine summit offers breathtaking views of the glacier and the Alps.

  • Day 7 - Sat 28 Dec 2024: Zurich - Strasbourg - Paris

    We’ll depart from Zurich and travel to the French region of Alsace, where we’ll visit its capital, Strasbourg—a charming city that beautifully blends French and German influences. You’ll have time to explore and get to know the city. Afterwards, we’ll continue our journey to Paris, arriving in the evening.

  • Day 8 - Sun 29 Dec 2024: Paris

    We’ll immerse ourselves in the rich history of France at the magnificent Palace of Versailles (admission not included), renowned for its stunning gardens. On our return to Paris, we’ll visit Montmartre, where a cable car (included) will take us up to this charming bohemian neighbourhood, famous for its artists, painters, and cabarets. To fully appreciate the grandeur of Paris, we’ll embark on a panoramic city tour with a local guide, showcasing the city’s impressive avenues and iconic monuments. Afterwards, we’ll return to the hotel. For those interested, there is an optional variety show in the evening.

  • Day 9 - Mon 30 Dec 2024: Paris - Rouen

    We’ll start our day in central Paris, beginning with a visit to the iconic Eiffel Tower. You´ll have the chance to go up to the second floor of this famous iron landmark (tickets included). Afterwards, we’ll enjoy a relaxing boat cruise along the Seine. You’ll have a free afternoon to explore the city at your own pace.

    Around 4:00 p.m., we’ll depart Paris and head to Normandy, arriving in Rouen. You´ll have free time to explore the historic center of this vibrant city, which dates back to Roman times and boasts charming medieval architecture and an impressive Gothic cathedral, offering a delightful blend of history and culture.

    Note: If wait times at the Eiffel Tower are too long, we might reschedule the visit to a different time (or on Sunday) for your convenience.

  • Day 10 - Tue 31 Dec 2024: Rouen - English Channel - Canterburry - London

    On day 10, we’ll have time to take a stroll through the center of Rouen. After this, we’ll travel to northern France. Crossing the English Channel by ferry, we’ll reach Canterbury, the religious capital of England, known for its charming historic center. Our journey will continue to London, where you’ll have some free time in the Tower Bridge area, one of the city´s most iconic symbols, before we head to the hotel.

  • Day 11 - Wed 01 Jan 2025: London

    Discover London on a panoramic tour with a local guide that showcases the city’s culture and history. You’ll see famous sites such as the Parliament, the River Thames, and Buckingham Palace, where you might witness the iconic Changing of the Guard (depending on the dates). In the evening, we’ll establish a meeting point in Piccadilly to take a stroll through Leicester Square, Chinatown, and Soho, areas renowned for their lively atmosphere, theatres, and entertainment options. You’ll have plenty of restaurants to choose from for dinner before we return to the hotel.

  • Day 12 - Thu 02 Jan 2025: London - Colchester- Ferry Colchester Volendam

    In the morning, we’ll visit the British Museum, one of the world´s oldest museums, where we’ll see traces of cultures from all around the world. At lunchtime, after some free time, we’ll head to Camden, a district renowned for its vibrant and eclectic street market. There, you can explore unique items and artefacts from around the globe and enjoy lunch at one of its little restaurants or food stands.

    Around 4:00 p.m., we’ll depart for Colchester, the oldest recorded town in England, and enjoy a leisurely stroll through its historic streets. We’ll then continue to Harwich to board the ferry for an overnight voyage to the Netherlands, staying in en suite cabins.

    Important note: Due to the limited number of cabins available on the ferry, the itinerary may be adjusted. We might travel from London to Amsterdam via a daytime ferry, with an overnight stay in Antwerp, or alternatively, take a train or flight to Amsterdam.

  • Day 13 - Fri 03 Jan 2025: Ferry Colchester Volendam - Volendam - Amsterdam

    Around 8:00 a.m., we’ll arrive in Hoek van Holland (Hook of Holland) and make a stop in Volendam, a picturesque fishing village. Then, we’ll travel to Amsterdam for a panoramic tour of the city, where we’ll see its most iconic landmarks. We’ll also see the famous diamond-cutting technique. For dinner, we’ll provide a transfer to Rembrandtplein, a vibrant area filled with restaurants offering cuisine from all over the world, and located near the famous Red Light District, known for its diverse nightlife.

  • Day 14 - Sat 04 Jan 2025: Amsterdam

    After breakfast (included in the price), our journey will come to an end, leaving you with wonderful lasting memories.
