Welcome to your tour with Europamundo! Weโllย transferย you to the hotel and youโll have some free time. In the afternoon, youโll find information about the start of your tour on the boards located at the hotel reception.
In the morning, weโll embark on aย panoramic tour of the Danish capital with a local guide. Copenhagen, the largest Scandinavian city, is full of contrasts, featuring the popular Tivoli Gardens, Christiansborg Palace, the charming terraces of Nyhavn, and the iconic Little Mermaid statue. In the late morning, weโll journey to Jutland. Our route includes crossing a 20 km bridge over the sea and stopping atย Odense, where we can explore its Gothic cathedral and H.C. Andersenโs House. Upon arrival inย Aarhus, youโll have free time.
Weโll travel toย Hirtshalsย and take aย ferryย across the North Seaย to Norway, embarking on a three-hour voyage toย Kristiansand. From there, weโll continue along Norwayโs stunning southern coastline. Our next stop will be the charming little town ofย Flekkefjord. Weโll then arrive inย Stavanger, a picturesque town with a bustling port by the fjord.
Note: The ferry schedule may vary depending on the month, but you will normally have time for lunch on the boat.
Upon leaving the city, weโll stop at theย Swords in Rockย monument, a tribute to the Viking era, before continuing our scenic route through tunnels, bridges, and some segments by boat along theย fjord coast of Norway. One of these undersea tunnels is the deepest in the world. The two boat trips will make this part of the journey both relaxing and spectacular. Weโll arrive inย Bergenย at lunchtime and take aย cable car up Mount Flรธyenย for amazing views of the town and the Bergen fjord. Afterwards, youโll have leisure time to explore the capital city of fjords.
Today, weโll experience more breathtaking landscapes, including Norwayโs fjords, glaciers, lakes, and forests. Our journey will take us toย Sognefjord, the largest fjord in Norway. Along the way, weโll stop at the stunningย Tvindefossen Waterfall. Then, weโll embark on a magnificentย cruiseย betweenย Gudvangenย andย Aurland, enjoying the stunning scenery during this hour-and-a-half voyage. We suggest having lunch on baord. Continuing our adventure, weโll traverse magnificent snow-covered landscapes and pass through the Aurland Tunnel, the longest in the world. Weโll make a brief stop to admire the exterior of Borgund Stave Church, considered the best-preserved medieval wooden church in Norway. Finally, weโll arrive inย Osloย with free time to explore the port, main streets, and the artwork in Frogner Park.
We include aย panoramic tourย of the Norwegian capitalย with a local guide. This city blends vibrant modern architecture with classical buildings, stunning scenery, and large parks with sculptures. Oslo has been named the European Green Capital. After the tour, youยดll have free time to explore on your own.
Next, weโll depart forย Sweden, passing through landscapes of forests and lakes. Our next stop isย รrebro, a historic town by a beautiful lake, with a castle and a charming old town. Enjoy some time for a stroll before we continue toย Stockholm, arriving in the evening.
Today weโll embark on aย panoramic tourย of this beautiful capital city, built on 14 interconnected islands. Weโll visit Gamla Stan, also known as the โthe city between bridgesโ, the lively old quarter filled with monumental buildings such as the Nobel Prize Museum, located right beside the main square of Stortorget which honors Nobel Prize winners, the Cathedral, and the Royal Palace. Whenever possible, weโll enjoy the stunning views from the Fjรคllgatan viewpoint. Afterwards, youโll have leisure time to explore. We recommend visiting the museums and parks. Optionally, you can visit the City Hall and the Vasa Museum.
Enjoy a free day inย Stockholm. In the evening, weโll board aย modern ferryย for an overnight journey toย Finland. Accommodation will be in double en-suite cabins.
As we arrive inย Finland, we recommend heading to the shipโs deck for sunrise to enjoy the mesmerizing landscapes as we sail past the ร land Islands, a collection of hundreds of forested islands. After disembarking the ferry, youโll have time to exploreย Turku, a city with a strong Swedish influence. Weโll then continue our journey to the neighboring city ofย Naantali, a picturesque town with charming wooden houses by the sea. Our travels will take us toย Helsinki, where weโll arrive around lunchtime. In the afternoon, youโll have leisure time to explore the city, including its old market, Russian-influenced buildings, and beautiful churches.
Weโll embark on an includedย boat tripย to theย Suomenlinna Islands, six islands home to a magnificent fortress that once protected the cityโs entrance and is now a World Heritage Site. Take some time to explore, crossing the islands via pedestrian bridges. Afterwards, youยดll have free time.
